PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL):
Project based learning (PBL) is a method of instruction in which students investigate a complex question or problem. This method is integral to my teaching style. Below you will find examples of PBL units we have done at The Colorado STEM Academy.

INSTRUCTIONAL UNITS AND STUDENT WORK:
Over the course of my 12 years as an educator, I have created thousands of lesson plans for my students, who have ranged from first through sixth grade. Below is a sampling of some of the lessons and units I have written. I have chosen a variety of lesson types for this portfolio (in addition to the PBL units above), and have chosen a student work sample to highlight as well.
