The George Washington University and University of Denver
University of Denver: Animal and Human Health Certificate Program

In February of 2011, I enrolled in the Animal and Human Health Certificate Program at the University of Denver. My volunteer work with an organization that trains service dogs, Freedom Service Dogs, initially led me to this program as I was looking to work with therapy dogs in a school setting. During the nine month program, I learned what animal assisted therapy was, how it could be implemented, and had the opportunity to directly observe its implementation across various settings. As a culmination of my learning, I developed a capstone project proposing therapy animal inclusion in educational settings.

The George Washington University: Educational Technology Leadership Program

After several years of contemplating the content of my Master's Degree, I finally found the program that suited me to a tee. The Educational Technology Leadership program at The George Washington University called my name the moment I read the program description. This program has taught me both the leadership and technological skills necessary to be a technology leader in the education field.
